Good Day....received my custom order which was a 2009 Jaguar X-Type wagon, 4.5/B with 38,870kms from Salim on Nov.7 and it was absolutely amazing.   From the first day I met both Salim and his son Bill they both impressed me with their sincere approach to selling cars.  In our case, this was a car for my son who lives in the interior and one of his favorite vehicles.   Over the years he has had 6 right hand drive cars.   Our process was challenging as we saw the car come up for auction in May but the manufacturing date was September which meant the car could not have arrive in Canada until October.   Salim did his magic at the time of bidding as he had only 1 day's notice to confirm the quality of the vehicle through pictures and auction sheet translation, relay all the details to us, agree to a bidding price and then place his bid.   The big day happened and presto, we were successful in our bid.   As soon as he knew which was the middle of the night he emailed us the news and we were ecstatic!! The next challenge was storage until the car could be shipped. Through his extensive contacts in Japan he arranged for storage in Japan over the six month period.   We had the car set up for delivery via RO/RO and got bumped due to the new model cars were being shipped from Japan and it was going to sit for another few months which was driving us crazy so Salim again with his contacts had the car shipped via container plus placed horizontally and not hung with a couple other vehicles. Attached are a few pics of the car at the storage yard.   Salim arranged the out of province inspection and basic mechanical checks because between my son and myself we like to detail the car our way as we find any flaws that were missed on the auction sheet.  Our first glance at the car and I would say the interior is an "A", basically flawless interior, no wear and tear or broken components....amazing condition. Our sincere thanks to Salim and Bill as they also helped me pickup the car in Richmond as I live in Coquitlam by going out of their way to pick me up and make sure the transfer was the easiest as possible. Salim with his wealth of experience made all the adjustments as events unfolded through team meetings in Japan, phone calls and text messages which were most important to me.   I never felt like I was left in the dark which can happen when importing cars from Japan.   Salim is building his business one client at a time and I would highly recommend you give him an opportunity of bidding on a car for you or meeting him at his storage yards either in Richmond or Abbotsford to discuss what type of vehicle you are considering. Wonderful experience purchasing a 2005 Mitsubishi Delica from AutoCom Motors LTD. Great communication throughout the entire process, excellent customer service, and went above and beyond helping source a trailer hitch, new tires and rims after the purchase agreement was made. Had to get a new hybrid battery for Prius bought from JDM. Called up Salim because my regular mechanic could not do the work. Salim recommended his go-to shop in Richmond where they were able to do an acurate diagnosis and complete the installation of a new Toyota  battery for far less than it would have cost to have the work done by a dealer. Throughout the process Salim gave me excellent advice and service and even came to pick me up from the Skytrain station. Could not have asked for more. This kind of followup service is so important for imports requiring specialized work so, once again I can wholeheartedly recommend Salim and Autocom Motors in Richmond for both purchase and all your servicing needs for Japanese Domestic Model vehicles. Salim at Autocom is an awesome guy. He is hard working and courteous towards his profession which is surprisingly a rare quality in car salesmen nowadays.
